The Most Dangerous Element of Islam is not Terrorism

As the world watches the aftermath of the recent Islamic terrorist attack in Paris, the latest installment of such attacks courtesy of a faith known more for its blood lust than its goodwill, a similar theme has emerged within the worldwide media. The reactions may vary from those quick to point out the dangers of Islamic extremism, to those extremely careful to not even associate the words Muslim or Islam with the murderous acts taking place.  But all seem to agree that these horrible actions are based on misinterpretations of Islam, and are only perpetrated by those outside of what the faith teaches. While it’s true that obviously not all practicing Muslims are terrorists, this is a dangerous miscalculation by the talking heads in the media. The website TheReligionofPeace.com explains it this way:

Most of today’s Muslims exercise a personal choice to interpret their holy book’s call to arms according to their own moral preconceptions about justifiable violence.  Apologists cater to their preferences with tenuous arguments that gloss over historical fact and generally do not stand up to scrutiny.

The verses in the Quran calling its practitioners to violence against the infidels and nonbelievers are many, and leave little gray area as to their interpretation. Those who do not practice this violence against others are actually neglecting to carry out specific commands of their faith, their prophet, and their god. They are however familiar with these precepts, and as such, many silently – or in many cases, not so silently rejoice when attacks in the name of Islam are carried out. For this reason, the often heard cries for the so-called “good” Muslims to speak out against such acts of terror go unheard or are ignored completely. Evidence within the Quran demonstrates that it is those who do not commit such horrendous acts of murder and destruction that are outside of Islamic doctrine, rather than conventional wisdom’s claim that it is the terrorists who are. Out of the many verses commanding violence within the Quran, here are just a few

Quran (2:191-193)“And kill them wherever you find them, and turn them out from where they have turned you out. And Al-Fitnah [disbelief] is worse than killing…

but if they desist, then lo! Allah is forgiving and merciful.   And fight them until there is no more Fitnah [disbelief and worshipping of others along with Allah] and worship is for Allah alone.  But if they cease, let there be no transgression except against Az-Zalimun (the polytheists, and wrong-doers, etc.)”

Quran (2:216)“Fighting is prescribed for you, and ye dislike it. But it is possible that ye dislike a thing which is good for you, and that ye love a thing which is bad for you. But Allah knoweth, and ye know not.”

Quran (3:56)“As to those who reject faith, I will punish them with terrible agony in this world and in the Hereafter, nor will they have anyone to help.”

Quran (4:74)“Let those fight in the way of Allah who sell the life of this world for the other. Whoso fighteth in the way of Allah, be he slain or be he victorious, on him We shall bestow a vast reward.”

Quran (4:89)“They but wish that ye should reject Faith, as they do, and thus be on the same footing (as they): But take not friends from their ranks until they flee in the way of Allah (From what is forbidden). But if they turn renegades, seize them and slay them wherever ye find them; and (in any case) take no friends or helpers from their ranks.”

Quran (8:12)“I will cast terror into the hearts of those who disbelieve. Therefore strike off their heads and strike off every fingertip of them”

Quran (9:29)“Fight those who believe not in Allah nor the Last Day, nor hold that forbidden which hath been forbidden by Allah and His Messenger, nor acknowledge the religion of Truth, (even if they are) of the People of the Book, until they pay the Jizya with willing submission, and feel themselves subdued.”

And from the Muslim Hadith we find:

Bukhari (52:177)Allah’s Apostle said, “The Hour will not be established until you fight with the Jews, and the stone behind which a Jew will be hiding will say. “O Muslim! There is a Jew hiding behind me, so kill him.”

There are many more verses and Hadiths that command killing “unbelievers”, and the treasures and riches that await those who partake in these acts.

Some point out that the Old Testament in the Bible is full of violence and bloodshed, and commands issued by God to kill others. This is true, but in an entirely different context. Nowhere does God promote any sort of ethnic cleansing against an entire people worldwide. The stories of war and bloodshed in the Old Testament are clearly identified with localized circumstances and historical context. In contrast, the verses within the Quran are completely open ended with no local or historical context, and issue universal commands such as “kill Jews wherever you find them”. Furthermore, Old Testament history exists within the framework of the old covenant God established with Israel, and point to the need for a new covenant, which was established by Jesus Christ in the New Testament. Other causes for violence in the Old Testament have to do with issues such as the prevalence of the nephilim and the attempts by satan to undermine the messianic bloodline by corrupting the human genome. In such cases where the ancient Israelites would encounter these, described as giants and rephaim, the Lord would command His people to kill all of them, in order to preserve humanity. For more on the nephilim, please see our piece on it here.

While terrorism in the name of Islamic jihad is widespread, and threatens global security everywhere, this is not the foremost threat of Islamic practice. Ancient warfare wisdom, even described in The Art of War by Sun Tzu, declares that the closer one is to their enemy, and the more his enemy trusts him, the more damage and destruction one can inflict when the time comes for him to unleash his attack. Islam promotes a sacred principle of hiding one’s faith and true intentions called taqiyya. Various Islamic sects practice similar things under other names such as idtirar and kitman. The general idea is that it is permitted to hide the faith, or even lie, deceive, and disown Islam, if the greater goal of the adherent is to promote or defend Islam. Regarding the practice of taqiyya:

Ibn Kathir writes, “meaning, except those believers who in some areas or times fear for their safety from the disbelievers. In this case, such believers are allowed to show friendship to the disbelievers outwardly, but never inwardly.” He quotes Muhammad’s companion, Abu Ad-Darda’, who said “we smile in the face of some people although our hearts curse them,” and Al-Hasan who said “the Tuqyah is acceptable till the Day of Resurrection.” (SOURCE)

In the wake of tragedies such as the shootings conducted by Muslim terrorists in Paris, news networks typically feature Muslim leaders in their coverage who seem to vilify such violence, and promote the false idea that Islam is about peace. However, their public lying and deceiving, and pretending to grieve with the rest of the world would be considered a practice of taqiyya. Not that all such responses are insincere, or that all Muslim leaders worldwide rejoice when Islamic terrorists kill innocent people for their religion, but the point is that we simply have no idea if they are not, because of taqiyya.

However, not all Muslim leaders hide their true goals or intentions. Some are proud and bold enough in their ideological positions to loudly proclaim their desire for the world to be forcefully converted or suffer their wrath. In a recent interview on the television show Hannity, outspoken and controversial Muslim imam Anjem Choudary pontificated on the joys of worldwide Sharia law being implemented by force. When host Sean Hannity protested, Choudary’s response was clear “You will have no choice about it Sean. It’s coming to a place near you. It’s coming to a place near you”. Choudary even clarified for us the very definition of Islam, and how it is being mischaracterized by people all over the world, including President Obama on a regular basis when Choudary stated, “Islam does not mean peace, it means submission”. Choudary made it absolutely clear that under Islamic rule, homosexuals, adulterers, and anyone who violates the fundamental law of being a practicing Muslim would be put to death. However, in his twisted mind, this would amount to an absolutely perfect society of peace, because if everyone is an obedient, subservient, and a devout Muslim worldwide, there would be no reason for war. It’s interesting to note the contrast between this practice, and the words of Christ when he first saved from death, and then told the adulteress, “Go and sin no more” (John 8:11).

The very reason that Islam now flourishes in Europe, and such attacks are taking place, is because of false assimilation and the practice of taqiyya. Muslims emigrate to these countries, seem to adopt their culture and way of life, move into their neighborhoods, and give the appearance of living in a peaceful manner with their neighbors. Meanwhile more and more of them emigrate as well, their families grow, and their overall presence and influence grows across the region. Suddenly, attacks such as the train bombings in Britain and Spain, and the shootings in Paris are happening. Taqiyya allows for Muslims worldwide to practice this false existence of seeming to live among others in peace, while all the while hating them and plotting their demise.

It is not the goal of this blog to condemn all Muslims worldwide as those who promote hatred and violence. But it is our goal to provide the truth of what Islam teaches, and to share this truth. The common misconception is that Islam is about peace, and those who kill in its name are misrepresenting the religion. This is exactly backward. Those who do not kill are the ones incorrectly practicing the faith. And we’re glad that there are so many heretics among Muslim congregants. However, many of these who could not stomach the idea of killing others themselves, secretly celebrate when another does the dirty work for them. Again, there are nonviolent Muslims – but not because of Islamic teaching, but rather in spite of it. But because of taqiyya and its prevalence, we’ll never know which ones truly desire for peace and religious freedom for all in their hearts, versus the ones who are consciously trying to deceive their neighbors and fellow citizens.
