From an early age, we are taught the idea that America was founded on Christian principles and reverence to God. However, it is becoming more and more evident that this was not the case.
America’s founding fathers, most notably people like George Washington, Benjamin Franklin, James Madison, Thomas Jefferson, and many others were affiliated with a variety of different churches and denominations, from Presbyterian to Unitarian. However, most of them were all devout Freemasons. One example of this masonic devotion is represented by our first president George Washington, who ceremoniously donned masonic garb, and placed a box of masonic medallions in the cornerstone of the Capitol building during its construction. Another story posits that John Hancock chose the date of July 4th, 1776 at 12:00 noon to sign the Declaration of Independence due to its esoteric value and to ensure that all of the signs would benefit the fledgling country.
If America was founded as a Christian nation, then one may wonder why Washington D.C. buildings and architecture are adorned with pagan, Gothic, and Greek pantheistic designs – instead of displaying statues of Jesus and the apostles or other clearly Christian symbolism.

One such example being Brumidi’s painting, the Apotheosis of Washington that appears on the ceiling of the Capitol rotunda featuring our preeminent forefather situated as a king among gods. Above his head are some manner of heavenly hosts bearing a banner with the inscription “E Pluribus Unum”, or “Out of Many, One”.
Other masonic evidence in Washington is everywhere. The Washington Monument is an exact match for an ancient Egyptian obelisk, which represents the erect phallus of Osiris. Some may say that this is just a coincidence. The ancient Egyptians would situate this structure near a body of water and across from another structure called the womb of Isis. The womb of Isis was a dome structure, much like the Capitol building, which is arranged directly across from the Washington Monument. The reflecting pool stretches out from the monument, exactly as it would in ancient Egypt. When the reflection of the obelisk was viewed in the body of water, it would appear as though it was pointing down, symbolizing the 
idea of “as it is above, so below”, a classic Freemason refrain. On a side note, it is interesting to compare this arrangement to that of the Vatican in which St. Peter’s Square features a similar obelisk facing a similar dome.
There is much that could be written and has been written on the subject of freemasonry and the founding of our country. The general connection between freemasonry and Egyptian religious architecture centers around the masonic skill of the ancient Egyptians in the construction of the pyramids and other massive structures. Freemasons were originally an order of builders who were tasked with using their secret methods to construct various structures. Their deity is what they refer to as the “Great Architect of the Universe”. Some who have spuriously assumed much and studied little have thought that this title referred to the one true God of Abraham. A quick study of American freemason leader Albert Pike sheds a different light:
Pike was said to be a Satanist, who indulged in the occult, and he apparently possessed a bracelet which he used to summon Lucifer, with whom he had constant communication. He was the Grand Master of a Luciferian group known as the Order of the Palladium (or Sovereign Council of Wisdom), which had been founded in Paris in 1737. Palladism had been brought to Greece from Egypt by Pythagoras in the fifth century, and it was this cult of Satan that was introduced to the inner circle of the Masonic lodges. It was aligned with the Palladium of the Templars. In 1801, Issac Long, a Jew, brought a statue of Baphomet (Satan) to Charleston, South Carolina, where he helped to establish the Ancient and Accepted Scottish Rite. Long apparently chose Charleston because it was geographically located on the 33rd parallel of latitude (incidentally, so is Baghdad), and this council is considered to be the Mother Supreme Council of all Masonic Lodges of the World. One of the longest standing ideals of freemasonry is the prophetic return of Apollo, who is also known in different cultures as Osiris or Nimrod. It is interesting that the name of Apollo even has conspicuous connections to modern day freemasonry, such as the name of this masonic lodge in New Jersey. Thomas Horn has done much work on masonic prophecies of the return of Apollo, and a great synopsis can be found here.
The Great Seal
This occultic connection in our country’s history is found most ubiquitously to this day on the back of our dollar bill. The Great Seal of the United States features an unfinished pyramid with a floating eye descending on the top to finish the pyramid. The inscription beneath the pyramid is “Novis Ordo Seclorum” – which literally translates “A New Order of the Ages”.
The eye descending on the pyramid is called the all-seeing eye, or the eye of Horus, a god of the Egyptian pantheon. According to Egyptian lore, Osiris was the father of Horus. Their relationship and activities represent a twisted mirror of that of God the Father and Jesus Christ. One of the names of Osiris is the “lord of love”, which reflects the Biblical tenet “God is love”. More distorted reflections are found in the teachings that Osiris rose from the dead, and that followers can achieve eternal life through imitative magic. Horus was conceived by Isis when she fashioned a golden phallus, temporarily resurrected Osiris after he had been killed by his brother Set, and connected the instrument to Osiris in order to impregnate herself. The quest for eternal power and immortality is connected to recreating these events through the construction of an obelisk (Osiris’ phallus) in connection to the building of the dome (Isis’ womb). The relationship between the Washington Monument and the Capitol building symbolize this pagan connection, and stand as a testament to the founders’ adherence to the ancient tenets of freemasonry drawn from Egyptian mythology.
As to the question of whose eye appears atop the pyramid, Horn writes,
While different versions of the eye of providence or all-seeing eye have appeared throughout time within various cultures, the origin of each can usually be understood within the context of its adjoined symbolism. In the case of the all-seeing eye on the Great Seal of the United States, the connection to the uncapped Egyptian pyramid and to the Osiris-Apollo-related mottoes positively determines the culture to which this specific “eye” refers, and the solar deity represented by it – Osiris/Horus/Apollo/Nimrod. http://www.newswithviews.com/Horn/thomas126.htm
Vice President Henry Wallace, who served in the Franklin D. Roosevelt administration, and was hailed as a dreamer and a mystic, recognized importance of the design of the Great Seal, and its prophetic calling of a new world order, and advocated that the symbol be instituted on the reverse side of the one dollar bill. Wallace stated,
“The duty of the prophets of this age. The stage is set for their passionate thunderings, their intense longings, their visions of ultimate purposes. They can usher in a millennium – the ‘Novus Ordo Seclorum’ – or they can consign us, because of our unbelief and hardness of heart, into captivity of long years of suffering.” – Henry Wallace, Statesmanship and Religion, 1934 (http://greatseal.com/dollar/henrywallace.html)
In a letter from 1951, Wallace said,
“Roosevelt as he looked at the colored reproduction of the Seal was first struck with the representation of the ‘All-Seeing Eye,’ a Masonic representation of Great Architect the Universe. Next he was impressed with the idea that the foundation for the new order of the ages had been laid in 1776 but would be completed only under the eye of the Great Architect. Roosevelt like myself was a 32nd degree Mason. He suggested that the Seal be put on the dollar bill rather that a coin.” (emphasis added)
Freemasons Wallace, Roosevelt, and the Freemason founders before them agreed that America would be the seed of the new world order, and once established as the capital of the world, the “Grand Architect”, or Osiris/Apollo/Nimrod would return, and the unfinished pyramid would be completed.
This is an interesting illustration, given that Jesus Christ Himself said in Matthew 21:42, “The stone which the builders rejected has become the chief cornerstone.” This is a direct fulfillment of the prophecy of Psalm 118:22, which states the same phrase. Considering the fact that the Freemasons were originally an order of builders and stone workers, Jesus claiming this distinction has significant implications. The Great Seal features a pyramid whose original capstone has literally been rejected, as it is missing from the image. The replacement, is an all-seeing eye linked to the god of the underworld, Osiris, or in Greek, Apollo, from the word Apollyon. In Revelation 9:11, Apollyon is identified as the angel of the bottomless pit, the chief of demons. The Great Seal of the United States clearly depicts for us the exact imagery of Matthew 21:42 and Psalm 118:22 – the original capstone, Jesus Christ, being rejected by the builders; the Freemason founders of the United States. The Bible states that Jesus was there at the foundation of the world (John 1:1-5; Hebrews 1:2; Matthew 25:34; Ephesians 1:4; Proverbs 8:23). Christ, rejected by men, is and will always be the chief cornerstone. This realization flies in the face of the common belief that America was founded as a Christian nation.
Albert Pike
At the risk of being accused of promulgating a fanciful conspiracy, let’s examine the very foundations of Freemasonry in the writings of Albert Pike, who authored Morals and Dogma of the Ancient and Accepted Scottish Rite of Freemasonry, which is the universally accepted doctrinal text of masons.
“Everything good in nature comes from OSIRIS – order, harmony, and the favorable temperature of the seasons and celestial periods.” (Morals and Dogma, Albert Pike, p. 476)
The concealment of the dark side of Freemasonry is by design, according to its doctrine:
“Masonry, like all the religions, all the Mysteries, Hermeticism and Alchemy, CONCEALS it secrets from all except the Adepts and Sages, or the Elect, and uses false explanations and misinterpretations of its symbols to mislead those who deserve only to be misled; to conceal the Truth, which it calls Light, from them, and to draw them away from it. Truth is not for those who are unworthy or unable to receive it, or would pervert it.” (Morals and Dogma, Albert Pike, pages 104-105)
Manly P. Hall, a teacher of modern American Freemasonry of the twentieth century, reveals who the god of the masons really is:
“When the Mason learns that the Key to the warrior on the block is the proper application of the dynamo of living power, he has learned the Mystery of his Craft. The seething energies of LUCIFER are in his hands and before he may step onward and upward, he must prove his ability to properly apply [this] energy.” (Lost Keys of Freemasonry, Manly P. Hall, page 48)
When one considers the roots of Freemasonry, our founding fathers’ devotion to it, their inclusion of masonic tenets and symbolism in virtually every aspect of our country’s founding, and the prophetic significance of the words of Jesus when He stated that He was the stone that the builders rejected, and in fact is the Chief Cornerstone; in contrast to the replacement capstone employed by the masons. We have discovered that this replacement stone, revered by the so-called enlightened men of American history, is none other than Lucifer, the fallen angel who did not enlighten as the Freemasons believe, but has weakened the nations, including ours.
How you are fallen from heaven,
O Lucifer, son of the morning!
How you are cut down to the ground,
You who weakened the nations!
For you have said in your heart:
‘I will ascend into heaven,
I will exalt my throne above the stars of God;
I will also sit on the mount of the congregation
On the farthest sides of the north;
I will ascend above the heights of the clouds,
I will be like the Most High.’
Yet you shall be brought down to Sheol,
To the lowest depths of the Pit. – Isaiah 14:12-15
